Hong-Kong based jeweler Luk Fook has recently opened two new boutiques in China “in a bid to further intensify retail operations in the mainland”, the company was quoted in Jewellery News Asia. The new shops are in Yifeng City Plaza, Zhoukou, Henan and Jincheng Shopping Plaza, Xianning, Hubei, respectively.
In September, Luk Fook opened its second retail shop in San Francisco. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on 2 September.
Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and CEO, said, “[…] This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Group’s public listing, and we are dedicated to extend the network here in Chinatown, San Francisco and anticipate to offer unparalleled shopping experience to Chinese customers around the world and further expand the market overseas […]”.
Luk Fook has began to establish its North American presence since 2003, and currently has over 1,500 retail shops covering nine countries and regions. Following the first Chinatown shop on Grant Avenue in San Francisco, the new shop is located on Washington Street.
