Plenty of people are getting their bling – be it jewelry or diamonds – via online stores, and the trend isn’t skipping the more famous and wealthy among us. Mila Kunis, for example, made quite a buzz when she revealed that she bought wedding ring for $90 from Etsy.
In an interview with US chat show Conan, Kunis said: “So, my husband and I got married. This was a while ago. He got me a beautiful engagement ring, like stunning, stunning, stunning! But for our wedding bands – for when we got married – I decided to just get them off Etsy. Our wedding bands are from Etsy”.
Kunis, who married long-time boyfriend Ashton Kutcher last summer, added: “I wanted the thinnest possible platinum band. I mean, you can’t see it, but it’s super, superthin,” she said. “I looked at how much Tiffany’s [cost] and I was like, ‘They’re how much? This is astronomical”.
There are many online platforms for purchasing jewelry and diamonds.
