A “group of extraordinarily rare blue diamonds” highlights Sotheby’s upcoming auction of Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels on November 15 in Geneva. The auction will also feature white diamonds, two exceptional colored gems and diamond jewels from Harry Winston, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari and Pederzani.

Among the highlights of the sale are a pair of Fancy Vivid blue diamond earrings, one weighing 2.61 and the other 3.06 carats, estimated at $8-$10 million. A blue diamond ring weighing 5.04 carats of rectangular cut will also be offered, and is estimated to rake in $9-$12 million. In addition, Sotheby’s will put to auction a pricey Fancy Light Pink diamond weighing 21.19 carats. This cushion-shaped stone, Type IIa’, is estimated at $4.5-$6.5 million.

Among the white diamonds offered are an exceptional pear-shaped stone weighing 40.18 carats, D-Colour, estimated at $2.5 million to $3.5 million. A Harry Winston diamond necklace featuring nine white diamonds of D-Colour is estimated to fetch $4.8 million to $5.8 million.
