Christie’s New York auction of Magnificent Jewels (April 16) will include some stunning diamonds and diamond jewels, among them a multi-million dollar pair of blue diamonds set in a stunning ring.
The highlight of the auction is a Twin-Stone Fancy Vivid Blue Diamond Ring of 3.06 and 2.61 carats, estimated by Christie’s to fetch between $6,000,000 to 8,000,000. Other notable diamonds presented in the auction include three D color diamonds over 15-carats, including a Marquise-cut Diamond Ring of 16.69 carats, D color, Type IIa, potentially internally flawless, from The Collection of Elizabeth Stafford, estimated at $1,200,000-$1,800,000). A Fancy Pink Diamond Ring of 6.11 carats could go for $1,500,000, while a a Pair of Fancy Deep Yellow Diamond Earrings of 7.55 and 7.51 carats could fetch at least $700,000.
The sale will also include private collections with signed diamond, ruby, and sapphire pieces by Bulgari, Cartier, Harry Winston, Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels. All in all, the auction will put to sale over 285 lots.
