The Watches and Wonders show, the watch industry’s biggest event, is back in physical format after succumbing to two Covid-enforced digital-only editions. According to IDEX Online, the show is scheduled for March 30 to April 5, 2022, in Geneva, and will feature “multiple online events for those ‘attending’ from home.”.
Among the big name brands to participate are Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Grand Seiko, Oris, and the brands of the LVMH Group (Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith).
In other trade show related news, Rough & Polished reports that the 6th annual Mediterranean Gem and Jewellery Conference (MGJC), scheduled this year in Greece, has been postponed to 2022, possibly in June or July. The postponement is driven by multiple cancellations of flights by citizens of non-European countries, according to the organizers.
