ABN AMRO’S DIAMOND AND JEWELLERY DIVISION RESTRUCTURES

ABN AMRO made two announcements regarding an internal restructuring at its Diamond & Jewellery Clients (D&JC) division.

 

First, the division is now part of the Trade & Commodity Finance (TCF) division within the Commercial & Institutional Banking business. Second, Geert van Reisen, who until now served as Global Head of Strategy, Risk and Portfolio Management for D&JC, has been appointed interim Global Head of the division starting December 1, 2017. Erik Jens, who has served in this capacity until now, will be leaving the bank.

 

ABN AMRO’s Diamond & Jewellery Clients has been in existence for over 100 years, and operates out of four locations – Antwerp, Dubai, Hong Kong and New York.
