Alrosa has announced it will hold two polished diamond auctions during the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair in September. The Russian miner will also introduce The Dynasty collection, consisting of five diamonds created from a 179-carat rough diamond.
The first auction will take place on September 13-17, introducing large colorless diamonds, as well as certified fancy colored diamonds, including yellow, green, orange and purple colors. The second auction will be held on September 19-22 and will include diamonds of small and medium sizes as well as brown stones.
Pavel Vinikhin, Director of DIAMONDS ALROSA, said: “We’ve chosen this assortment in accordance with demand on the Asian market. Large diamonds of more than 5 carats are very desirable for premium segment jewelry, and diamonds of less than 1 carat – for the mass market […]”.
