Pop icon Cher, 76, sparked much speculation on Christmas day when she shared a photo on Twitter of what followers and the media believe to be an “engagement-like diamond ring.”
The post has many speculating about her plans with her much younger boyfriend, 36-year-old music producer and singer Alexander “AE” Edwards. “THERE R NO WORDS,” she wrote in the caption. Later, she explained: “I posted this cause his nails are so cool.”
Their relationship became public after they were photographed holding hands on November 2 in Los Angeles. Following the outing, Cher wrote in a now-deleted Twitter post, “LOVE DOESN’T KNOW MATH, IT SEES ❤️ ❤️.” Later, she shared a photo of Edwards and wrote: “Alexander ❤️”. When asked if it was her new man, responded with a “🥰” emoji.
