Luke Aukuso, a dad from Brisbane, Australia was just trying to propose to his girlfriend, but his daughter Harpie had other ideas concerning the engagement ring, which made for an adorable – and crazily viral – marriage proposal video.
Aukuso, daughter Harpie and the future bride,Stephanie, were on a Brisbane pier when Aukuso got on one knee, and asked little Harpie to open the ring box. He then says, “Look at mummy” when, suddenly, the ring slips out of the box, falls through the cracks and into the ocean below.
The romantic scene changes drastically as all three exclaim in horror. Later, Stephanie reported that Luke had saved the ring: “It was a 6m jump into about 1m of water on low tide, adrenaline hit him hard. Everything turned out perfect,” she said.
