FROM SNOWBOARDING TO RINGS: THE RECORD-BREAKING SHAUN WHITE

Born in 1985, Shaun Roger White is a Californian-born professional snowboarder and skateboarder. He’s a three-time Olympic gold medalist, and holds the most Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder.

Despite suffering a serious crash while training for the 2018 Winter Olympics in New Zealand, White qualified for the 2018 US Olympic Team, going on to win his third Olympic gold medal for the Men’s Halfpipe event. As a gifted athlete from a young age, White has had a sponsor since he was seven years old. His endorsement deals have included Burton Snowboards, Oakley, Inc., Birdhouse Skateboards, Park City Mountain Resort, Target Corporation, Red Bull, Ubisoft, Adio and Hewlett-Packard.

As for personal jewelry style, White is all gold, wearing not only a golden Rolex, but also three gold rings on his right hand – each gold ring a testament to a different achievement. One is from the 2006 Winter Games in Torino, Italy, bearing the inscription “Olympic gold medalist.” The second ring is from the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, and carries the same inscription. The third is from the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia and says “Olympic team member.”
