The first-ever B2B expo India Gem & Jewellery Show (GJS 2022), organized by the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), the apex industry body representing the jewelry sector in India, has turned out to be “a great success,” according to Rough & Polished. The expo was held on April 3-6 at Jio World Convention Center – JWCC Mumbai.
More than 16,000 visitors “from across India as well as foreign nations” attended the four-day event, which showcased the merchandise of over 600 exhibitors with 1,277 booths.
Saiyam Mehra, Vice Chairman of All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) and Convener of GJS, said that “[…] the show floor was buzzing with energy as exhibitors and retailers reconnected with a shared passion for jewelry. The show has allowed the retailers to restock their inventory for the upcoming festive season, especially Akshay Tritiya […]”.
