INDIA: HARI KRISHNA CEO GIFTS 600 CARS TO HIS DIAMOND POLISHERS

Surat-based diamond merchant Savji Dholakia, the founder and chairman of Hari Krishna Exports, ןד known for gifting expensive gifts to his employees ahead of Diwali. Late last week, he was at it again: According to Savji Dholakia’s Facebook page on Saturday (October 27), Dholakia gave away 600 cars to his employees in a ceremony last Thursday (October 25).

 

In a “Skill India Incentive Ceremony” attended by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PM handed over car keys to few of the company’s employees personally. According to the Facebook post, the Hari Krishna Group “gave incentives to approximately 1,700 diamond artists and diamond engineers in the form of cars and fixed deposits”. The program aims “to reward employees’ loyalty and dedication towards the company”.

 

According to news reports, the cars gifted are Renault KWID and Maruti Suzuki Celerio. Only last month, Dholakia gave three Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs to three senior staffers who celebrated 25 years of employment at the company.
