For the First Time Since the Pandemic, The Israeli Pavilion Returns to JMA Hong Kong

The JMA Hong Kong International Jewelry Show concluded on November 27, following four exciting, action-filled days.

This is the first time since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic that the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) has hosted an Israeli pavilion in a major Asian show. The Israeli diamond companies that exhibited in the pavilion remarked that the show met their expectations, and reported good traffic in the pavilion, resulting in new business connections with B2C and B2B buyers. Many remarked that they look forward to meeting clients from China in upcoming industry events. Sadly, Chinese buyers were absent from JMA Hong Kong due to continued COVID restrictions.

Visitor traffic was apparent in the pavilion throughout the show, and the diamantaires commented about how great it was to meet their clients, as well as new buyers, face-to-face again after a two-year hiatus.

The excitement among the exhibitors and buyers was apparent, and everyone seemed rejoiced by Hong Kong’s return to normalcy, as well as the holiday season ahead.

The IDI team accompanied and supported the Israeli diamond companies throughout the show, and is already preparing for the next major shows, among them the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.
