The most famous footballer in the world doesn’t play when it comes to his bling: While appearing in a panel at the Dubai International Sports Conference earlier this week (December 29), Ronaldo wore jewellery worth about $822,000 – on just one hand. That same evening, the decorated footballer picked up his sixth award for men’s player of the year at the Globe Soccer Awards.
According to multiple reports, the 34-year-old Juventus forward arrived at the event wearing a Rolex GMT-Master Ice watch, which features 18-carat white gold and hundreds of small diamonds weighing 30 carats. At about $497,000, this is Rolex’s most expensive watch. Ronaldo also wore two rings: a woman’s wedding rings with a huge cushion-cut yellow diamond at its center, valued at approximately $260,000; and a wedding band estimated at about $65,400.
Ronaldo is no stranger to super expensive bling. In 2018, he bought his current girlfriend – and now rumored fiance Georgina Rodriguez – a huge Cartier diamond ring worth more than $815,000.
