Russian LGD Producer Promises to Double Production in 2022

“Synthesis Technology”, a Russian lab-grown diamond producer located in the Moglino special economic zone of Russia’s Pskov Province, promises to double its production capacity in 2022, Rough & Polished reports.

In an interview with TASS quoted by the website, the company’s spokeswoman said that the company has received a loan from Russia’s Industrial Development Fund which will enable it to “launch a second press line, expand production capacity, and discuss a large expansion of contracts.”

In an early 2020 interview with Rough & Polished, Ekaterina Nagovitsyna, the company’s Director General, said that if the company reaches “the figure of 7,000 carats per year by the end of 2020, we will plan to expand to 90,000 carats per year by 2023.”
