Bryan Morgan, Signet Jewelers’ Chief Operating Officer (COO), has resigned on June 2 due to “violations of company policy unrelated to financial matters”.
This was the language submitted by the jewelry company in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as quoted by Gem Konnect. No further details were forthcoming from the company. According to the report, Morgan was promoted to COO last January. His previous post at Signet was Executive VP of Supply Chain Management and Repair.
Signet operates some 3,600 stores “under the name brands of Kay Jewelers, Zales, Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry, H.Samuel, Ernest Jones, Peoples and Piercing Pagoda”.
