Tiffany’s famous Empire Diamond, valued at $20 million, has found a new home within another illustrious piece of jewelry, IDEX Online reports. Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, dubbed the Queen of Arab Pop and a global ambassador for Tiffany, showcased the gem during the debut of the jeweler’s Blue Book 2024 Tiffany Celeste collection.
The oval-shaped, D-color, IF-clarity diamond was unearthed in Botswana and was initially featured in a re-creation of Tiffany’s 1939 World’s Fair Necklace, famously worn by Beyoncé at an Oscars after-party in April 2022.
Now, it graces the Lucida Star platinum necklace, formerly housing the 100-carat, 82-facet Legendary white diamond, which itself replaced the 128.54-carat Tiffany Yellow diamond.
Singer Dua Lipa adorned the Legendary diamond at the Met Gala last May.
