The World Diamond Council (WDC) has witnessed an unprecedented increase in membership in 2023, according to a letter from WDC Executive Director Elodie Daguzan, quoted by Diamond World.
According to the letter, 13 additional companies joined the WDC as members between April and October 2023, representing a 24% increase in membership – the largest number recorded in such a brief period since the organization was formed in 2014. Since January 2023, a total of 18 new members have joined the WDC, catapulting membership by 49% from 37 to 55 within just nine months.
The 13 latest WDC members are: A.V. Diamonds, Arslanian Group DMCC, B.A. Asscher, Constell Group, Crodiam Consulting, Diamex Inc., DN Diamonds, Julius Klien Diamonds, Karshev Jewellery, Kunming International, Matthew Schamroth, Okavango Diamond Company (ODC), and VD Global.
