Huge Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond Leads Hong Kong’s Phillips Auction

A magnificent 15.51-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond ring is set to lead the upcoming Phillips Hong Kong Jewels Auction today (March 28). According to IDEX Online, the ring is estimated to sell for a minimum of $950,000 and could reach $1,250,000.

 

The natural color, VS2 clarity, no-fluorescence brilliant-cut stone is mounted in platinum and yellow gold. It is flanked by two triangular-shaped diamonds totaling 1.25 carats (F-G color, VS clarity).

 

Two other standout pieces to be featured at the auction are a 1.38-carat fancy vivid purplish pink diamond (SI2 clarity) in a gold spiraling dome-shaped ring adorned with circular-cut pink sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds (estimated value of $320,000 to $450,000); and a ring set with a 2.65 carat pear-shaped VS1 clarity fancy intense orangy pink diamond and two white pear-shaped diamonds (estimated value of $300,000 to $400,000).
