Lightbox, De Beers-owned lab-grown diamond company, has launched the Lightbox Basics collection – lower quality polished LGDs with a 25% discount, according to IDEX Online.
The collection is made of white stones in a “modern sterling silver bezel setting” that sell for 600 per carat, instead of the company’s $800 per-carat. All the Basics stones are guaranteed to be “at least SI clarity, faint color, and a very good cut,” according to the report.
“We’re big on consistency,” says the company on its website. “So when one of our white stones grows with even the tiniest bit more color than usual, we make a big deal of it. That’s why we’re happy to offer these still-beautiful stones at 25 percent off.”
