Construction of the Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB), which will make it one of the largest diamond bourses in the world, will begin on October 25, 2017, according to Rough & Polished.
PSP Projects is in charge of the project, which is projected to last 30 months. At the end of it, the SDB will have “all the essential facilities at par with international standards”.
The proposed SDB will have offices for traders, a trading hall, self deposit vaults, a museum, a food zone, banks, a custom office, an amphitheater, money transfer facilities, a travel desk, a retail zone, an auction house, a security control room and a club besides other basic facilities.
