Jennifer Lopez wowed the audience with her performance at the MTV VMAs in New York Monday night, but her choice of bling also drew plenty of buzz: According to multiple sources, Lopez wore $2 million of diamonds including one-of-a-king earrings – all from Tiffany’s.
Draped in a Versace gown, Lopez’s most special jewel was a pair of diamond-set earrings in different cuts – baguettes, round brilliants, pavé – which Tiffany created especially for her for the night. Lopez also wore diamond bracelets and rings weighing more than 70 carats.
This isn’t the first time that Lopez shows her love for over the top bling. In June, Lopez wore ver $4.5 million worth of Tiffany & Co. jewelry in 13 different looks in the music video for her single “Dinero”. Among the jewels worn in the video is a a $500,000 platinum and diamond bracelet as well as a $450,000 diamond necklace.
