LVMH LAUNCHES A DEDICATED ONLINE SECTION FOR JEWELRY

French group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has launched “a dedicated jewellery section” on its portal 24Sevres.com., according to Gem Konnect.

 

LVMH opened 24Sevres last year to boost fashion items for the group’s brands; it also features brands from competitors such as Valentino. The new, dedicated jewelry section on 24sevres.com will feature product from 13 brands and prices of jewelry will range from $90 to $2,500.

 

A study by Bain & Co., regarding growth of luxury items, found that jewelry was the largest growing segment than any other in the luxury goods sector barring shoes in 2017. A survey ahead of the major holidays in 2017, conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics for the National Retail Federation (NRF), found that for the first time in survey history, online is the most popular shopping destination, cited by 59% of consumers.
