THE RAINMAKER: TOM BRADY SELLS LUXURY SWISS WATCHES NOW

IWC Schaffhausen has appointed New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady as its new “Brand Ambassador”. IWC Schaffhausen was founded by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones in 1868. It was purchased by the Swiss Richemont Group in 2000.

The six-time NFL champion announced the partnership in an Instagram post on June 25, writing: “I’m excited to officially join the IWC family as I have admired their design and performance for decades! They have an incredible heritage and together we can’t wait to share this new chapter. So many exciting things to come! Maybe I can wear them for my two minute drills this fall […]”.

IWC Schaffhausen said that the company and Tom Brady “look forward to bringing their partnership to life with many exciting new projects planned”, but didn’t specify the projects. The watchmaker did say that Brady’s watch collection “includes several IWC watches, among them a Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Miramar and the iconic Portugieser Perpetual Calendar”.
