Money Belt Mayweather McGregor

HUGE DIAMOND BELT MADE FOR MAYWEATHER-MCGREGOR FIGHT

The biggest event in sports has just gotten bigger: Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, who will battle each other on Saturday (August 26) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, will be fighting for more than just prestige. According to multiple news sources, the World Boxing Council (WBC) has made a special “Money Belt” made of diamonds and gold.

The belt, which features the names of both combatants, has 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 160 emeralds and approximately 1.5 kilograms of 24k gold. The “Money Belt” strap is made from crocodile leather.

Mayweather has been known to love his bling: In Christmas of 2015, TMZ reported that Mayweather spent more $10 million on new diamond jewelry, including a “giant ring” weighing 50 carats, and a necklace made of 74 diamonds, each one weighing 3 carats each. Earlier that month, Mayweather spent over a million dollars on a diamond watch while shopping in Dubai.

A year earlier, Mayweather spent more than $250,000 on platinum, gold, and diamond encrusted gifts for his family and friends. He reportedly bought a 70-carat diamond tennis necklace and a matching tennis bracelet, a diamond encrusted watch with over 40 carats of diamonds, and a diamond pendant. Each piece Floyd picked out ran between $5,000-$10,000.
