US Customs Seize $6.8 Million of Fake Jewelry from Hong Kong

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Cincinnati, Ohio caught three shipments of fake jewelry and watches from Hong Kong earlier this month. If genuine, the shipments would have been worth $6.88 million, IDEX Online reports.

 

The first shipment contained 275 assorted “Cartier Love bracelets.” If genuine, they would have been worth $3.27 million. Later the same day, CBP officers seized 500 fake Cartier bracelets, which would have been worth $3.2 million if genuine. 

 

The day after, 13 fake Rolex watches were seized, all fakes, of course -ten Cosmograph Daytona and three Yacht Master II, estimated at $405,000 if genuine.
